Great Moon Buffet

$33 for two people (drinks included).
I kid you not, I had 4 plates of blue crab. Don’t worry, I’m not that stingy person who takes 2/3 of the tray as soon as it comes out (I went up four separate times).

The food here at Great Moon tonight was fresh & overall pretty good. Of course you’ve got your overly seasoned-with-MSG pickings, but that’s what Chinese Buffets are supposed to be right?

Great Moon is across the street from another buffet, equally good; GM is a lot smaller in size, but that’s ok.

Service was good tonight; our server was attentive & refilled our beverages & pre-bussed our table in a timely manner.

I didn’t get hibachi, but I noticed the chef was putting out plates efficiently.

For dessert, I probably ate a whole mango, they were perfectly ripe & sweet.
Today’s experience was ideal service & quality wise.

The seafood was awesome especially the coconut shrimp. Also the place was somewhat empty and seating was easier! Although the food is still on the expensive side in my opinion but who doesn't like a treat once in a while!

Food was in same cases great and some not great at all for the buffet. Crab and shrimp were good. Sushi was also pretty good. Beef / steak was not good at all. For $17 an adult it has to be much much better. It was very busy and popular for Sunday lunch. But popularity doesn't equal excellence.

Lots of wonderful staff, food is so good! This is the only buffet I will go to. My favorite is the skillet made for you. The man cleans it up well after every person he makes it so it tastes fresh. You choose your protein and veggies with your sauces. And then gives it to him to fry, it always tastes so amazing.
