Mela Thai Cuisine

The food is basically very good. The spring rolls are huge and the peanut sauce with them very tasty. I love their green curry. Today I tried the Seshzwan chicken. Nothing wrong with it, but not my thing. The stars off are not for the food but for not being open when they say they are. This was the second time. The first time I ordered on line but the door had a sign "closed due the water problem". Why didn't they disable ordering then? Got a call several days later asking if I wanted the food - not then, especially when I live 15 miles away. Today I was in the neighborhood and stopped at 11:10 am to order a takeout lunch. Sign said they open at 11 am but the doors were locked and no one answered the phone. Someone else came at 11:25, doors were still locked but that time they did answer the phone and let us both in.

Good food. Good service. Short staffed currently. But the work hard to make it good. A little patience is worth it.

First time trying this place. Food was good. Our server was very young and didn't write our order down, then proceeded to ask us to repeat it 3x so she got it right. Which is fine, but maybe write it down to remember? It was a slow lunch day and staff were very attentive. I would go again. Food was better the next day as leftovers!

This place is amazing. Sadly as a Minnesotan I cannot take the full heat that you can find here. The mild is pretty spicy and beyond that gets HOT. Just keep that in mind. However, the food is amazing! Everything smells great, tastes great it is so good. You can't go wrong with anything here. I would highly recommend this place, especially the red curry.

I normally don’t leave reviews for places but Mela Thai is so good I had too. I ordered red curry and the Thai papaya salad. Both were beyond words yummy. I asked for the curry to he made “spicy” and indeed it was fiery enough to clear my sinuses.. a few times. I recommend being mindful about the spice you choose, if you’re sensitive to spice be on the cautious side. Generous servings for the price you pay, I was able to stretch out the curry and papaya salad over three meals, delicious each time and kept in my fridge well. The customer service was beyond great, associates were friendly and called to clarify our order and help us. Would recommend, my new favorite Thai restaurant
