Nick's Downtown Diner

Amazing. Calm and small town atmosphere, but clearly a popular place. It was relatively calm when we were there on a Wednesday noon. Service was friendly and quick, no rushed feeling when we were done. The Fat Elvis French toast has peanut butter and bananas between slices. I was worried it might be too heavy or sweet, but it was just right! I will definitely come back.

Had lunch today. The open faced pork sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. So much flavor, so delicious!! The perfect portion size. Friendly service! And I love a place that puts a pot of coffee on the table. I wish I could give them 10 stars!!!

My wife and I were shopping for antiques in Cannon Falls and wanted to eat at a small-town restaurant. The wait staff was prompt and friendly. We did wait a little for the food. When the food arrived, we quickly changed our focus to how great the food tasted. Waiting for quality food is not an issue for me. We would definitely recommend this place. The cheeseburger and french fries were fabulous. My wife loved the french toast.

Stopped here to have breakfast while traveling because the reviews were good. Great place! Very well kept, greeted with a friendly “ good morning “ from the waitress. Menu was full of choices for all meals. Both breakfast dishes ordered were very good! Highly recommended. Lovely downtown atmosphere!

Really delicious! Server was attentive and did an amazing job of taking care of all of the patrons. Food was homemade and delicious. Orange juice tasted fresh squeezed. Highly recommend this small town gem.
