Bev's Cafe

Can't say I much care for their policy of waiting for a table without structure. From start to finish between waiting in line getting a table getting our food ordered and getting our food we were there for an hour and a half. The wait staff are really quite excellent at what they do and make it more palatable to wait as long as you have to. I ordered the corned beef hash and whereas it was crunchy and burnt in some places it was quite tasty. The spouse had the eggs benedict and what a huge portion! However the last thing you want is to sit and eat your food while a dozen evil eyes are staring at you waiting for you to leave.

So Bevs. About Bevs, I absolutely love the atmosphere here. Classic. Wait staff is friendly and quite quick. The food fast and delicious every time. Keep it up guys!!!

Small Mom and Pops type of place. Be prepared to wait for your table as they don't create a wait-list - runs on a first-come first-serve, seat-yourself system. Good portion sizes and value for the money! Ideal for groups of 1-4 people!

Had lunch on monday, wait staff were so pleasant. special was delicious. so great to have unique food choices in a small cafe. will definitely get back here.

This place is busy for lunch and the wait staff works their tails off. They are amazingly efficient. Unfortunately, we waited over a half hour from the time we ordered our food until it arrived. That's long enough that we probably won't choose this place again. However, the food is good cafe food, and the place is clean and pleasant enough. It's in a convenient location downtown and street parking is easy to find.
