The meats and sauces were all very tasty. However, the lunch prime rib sandwich with slaw instead of hashbrowns wasn't enough food, only a couple of tablespoons of meat with the egg and cheese (although the flavor combo of the 3 proteins was really good!). The 3 meat platter with 2 sides was plenty of food and the burger with sweet potato fries on the edge of enough for the 6'2" young adult male that ordered it. Both the sweet potato fries and the slaw were cut too fine. The slaw was limp. The fries did stay crispy that way, but one really couldn't taste the sweet potato.

Stopped by after a hike and got the Big Oak burger and fries. The burger on it's own would've been 5 stars, it was perfectly cooked, so savory, and the brisket......oh my goodness so good! The fries were pretty disappointing, they were flavorless, with no seasoning, and was more like shells of fries with no filling. Based on this, I'd say it may be a gamble with some items, tho probably safe to assume any of the meat items will be fantastic!

My mom got the three meat sampler and she loved her corn. The chicken was pretty amazing on the platter as well. It was our favorite that's for sure. I had a redone Ruben sandwich. It was good but I can't help to wonder what it would be like if it was on rye bread instead of a white bread roll. I liked the beans over the sandwich lol. They were very very good. We had potato skins and chicken wild rice soup pictured, both were very good. Overall the food was all very good! The restaurant was clean and decorated in fall decor and the ambiance was good too. Right when you walk in you see the rotisserie chicken spinning around and it smelled so good! Our waitress was dressed as a scarecrow because Halloween was on Thursday and it is Saturday. The place was extremely busy. If the place is busy it will be very loud and might not be the best place to sit and have a conversation. Don't let that defer you. The food is very good and full of flavor. Dinners cost 9$-30$ lots of choices.

Service was absolutely excellent! We received our food so fast it was crazy. Very friendly atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back here again the next time I am in Red Wing! Definitely worth a visit. I had the Memphis Pulled Pork sandwich and it was heaven!
