We can’t believe we didn’t come here sooner. The food is soooo good, and generous portions for a super reasonable price. I got the Grecian omelette—gyro meat with spinach, tomato, and feta cheese with tzatziki sauce on the side—it is the most amazing omelette I have ever had!! i swapped out the side of toast for lefse and it was also delicious. My daughter tried the tres leches French toast and son had the breakfast burger (both limited specials), and they both also loved their food. Our server was nice and knowledgeable and the restaurant clean and convenient. We highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or brunch!!
We loved our breakfast with coffee at the Bloomington Taste of Scandinavia. I enjoyed the farmer’s skillet; 3-eggs, red potatoes, bacon, onions, and cheddar cheese; and a Swedish pancake with syrup. My husband enjoyed his classic breakfast; 2-eggs, hash browns, bacon, and a regular pancake (instead of toast). Our waitress was very busy because the place was packed, nevertheless, she was attentive and promptly brought us more coffee, half n half, a box to go, and filled coffee cups to go at our request. We plan to return soon! ❤️
The food was a bit bland and plain. We were excited to try it but we were disappointed in the taste of the food. We had two different meals - one had eggs stuffed inside lefse and the other had lefse on the side. It felt like this place was just a traditional American diner with Lefse on the side. Lefse from family will always be better.
Pretty good experience when I went inside the festival store it smelled good and that's when I ran into this place lots of elderly people come here but the food is great I'll definitely come again over the weekend and get the Swedish sausage scramble.
This location is inside the Festival Foods grocery store. The food is sensational! Highly recommended if you love breakfast. The pancakes were awesome, but if you're thinking traditional fluffy buttermilk cakes, that is not what you'll get. Lefse and their potato sausage... delicious! They also showcase their bakery goods that you can buy up front.
