The food is AMAZING!! BIG menu. I got the wings and fish.. Crispy, fresh, hot and very tastey.. The fries (meh) could be a little more brown and crispy. The cooks mos def know what they are doing but leave them fries in a lil bit longer.. Service was definitely lacking. Let me explain. The ladies at the counter taking orders were very kind and accommodating, but it takes the food FOREVER to come out... Also, be ready for long lines.. Moreover, this is not a dine in spot so you'll have to get your grub to go.. Nevertheless, the place is clean and in order. I plan on going back in the near future.. Check em out!
The Chicken is not bad. It's not what I remember traveling to Chicago with my husband which is from Chicago I felt like the Chicken could have been a little bit more seasoned. The breast was a little dry so if I ever get Chicken from Harolds again, it would be just the wings. But I will have to say that butter cookie is the bomb. Don't like the fact that you can't opt out like onion rings for fries with an up charge. By time you get home the fries are not as good they're better when they're just hot. Not everybody likes
french fries. So there should be an up charge for an optional side. For a 4 piece mix, I think that they should at least give you one more coleslaw. My husband and I split the four piece. So now I know to get the 8 oz. A 5-year-old would be mad at that little bit they give you. I thought the people that was working there was very nice but I will have to say the wait time is pretty long.
Chicken seemed slightly underseasoned but had good flavor sauce on it. Next time I’ll ask for sauce on the side because they put it over the fries too makes them not crispy. Not the same as the Harold’s I’m used to in Chicago but they just opened so maybe it’ll improve in the future. Fair prices. Menu seemed smaller compared to Chicago. Desserts looked pretty good.
