Clive's Roadhouse Champlin

Really enjoyed this joint. Pretty laid back atmosphere, fair prices to maybe slightly high for Champlin, but I don't know the area that well. We hung out at the bar and our service was spot on. Purchased the walleye fingers and pretzel apps. Sight lines for watching sprots was decent, but the TVs around the bar are a little elevated requiring you to look up a fair amount. Overall however, this is a solid place to hang out.

Our first time visiting. Wait staff was great. Greeted us with smiles and a positive attitude. Seating was good. Ordered the Bourbon Shrimp & Steak. Loved it. Experience overall, would definitely go back.

Went here on Saturday 11/9/19 with my Wife, Mom and Dad. We initially were a little weary being we were told it was going to be a 30min wait and my Mom wasn't really into that at first but we decided to just wait. We were surprisingly seated after only 10-15min. We were then a little concerned about service being it was quite busy that night but our server (wish I could remember her name) rose to the occasion and was above and beyond professional and hospitable with taking care of us.

Above all else the food was amazing! I had the herb rotisserie chicken, I always get that because I love your chicken and mashed potatoes that come with it! A bit of a suggestion though, that I feel didn't affect my experience, is there a way to add a little more spice to the chicken? Not hot spice but just more herbs to give it even more good flavor? Also, instead of seasonal vegetables can you possibly just offer your choice of a veggie? I always ask what the seasonal veggie is and it's never something I like so I always sub it for mac and cheese.

Great food. Fast, curtious service. Went during the lunch hour. Was busy, but not full. Got our food rather quickly. Will go back for supper some time.

The food is always good. The service is good. I ordered the special of the night, the server said "I was told we are out of the special". But she said said she would double check. By doing that, she found there was one left! I appreciate the extra effort. And it was delicious.
