Convention Grill

It had been a decade or more since I walked into the Conventional Grill. The smell of burgers on the grill and fries in the fryers made me nostalgic. The host greeted me kindly. I quickly placed my malt take-out order, then asked for a side order of fries while I waited. Sitting at the front counter was a trip. What the grilled head and assistant get orders ready was fabulous. Reading the vintage signs overhead reminded me that not all needs to be glitzy and new. This place is perfect as is, and the malts are traditional in nature, full of flavor and s full malt order feeds two. Try the Butterfinger or Oreo - top notch. But those fries..wow. Eaten hot and fresh, you can tell then are hand cut and perfectly salted. Made me happy just eating, watching and waiting for my malts. Give it a go.

We stayed away too long! Absolutely delicious burgers.....better than most in town! Try out the Plaza Burger if you are a cheese head ???? Fries are addictive, remember to ask for the chive sour cream dip. Save room for the shakes and malts. (Free parking lot)

Very enjoyable atmosphere for a birthday celebration with great friends. I little noisy but cozy. Good service. Excellent food. Good drink selection.

I love this place. A bit of nostalgia mixed with your classic burger, fries and a malt, make it a welcome throwback to another time. Food is always terrific as is the service. The employees are young, but unexpectedly hard-working. If you like the old diner vibe, then this place with please you tremendously.

The place was really busy for a Sunday night. Food was great. Service was also very good considering how busy they where. Great burgers and fries.
