Tavern on France

Love stopping by for happy hour or when I'm feeling creative, a build-your-own menu of bloody Marys, salads, flatbreads and burgers is almost overwhelming! The quieter inside can be romantic or a little more casual and during the summer their patio is the perfect evening spot.

SUPER Noisy place. Very hard to have a conversation there!! Food is HUGE!! AS well as very good. Not a place to take older people who have trouble hearing!!

Had a good experience here. Started off rocky...our group of 13 was seated at a group of tables without about 10 chairs. Server immediately addressed it and got more chairs. He filled water promptly (and often) and was around to ask if we needed anything. He was willing to take a bunch of pictures of our group when we finished, which was nice of him. We all had the buffet. Most everyone liked everything they tried. Some people didn't enjoy the roast beef--they said it was too garlicky. Others liked it, and we all agreed it was tender. Fresh fruit was ripe and delicious. I'd return.

Good food and reasonably priced. Outdoor patio is nice and indoor seating is plentiful. Good place to take kids.

I knew of the Blaine location but did not realize this location even existed.

I stopped in for lunch and was told in advance to expect a wait, as this location was quite busy around lunch time. I arrived and checked in with the hostess, she seated me almost immediately.

Instead of ordering my usual "build your own" burger, I decided to try something different for once; therefore I ordered the French dip sandwich with waffle fries.

The staff are very friendly, they literally didn't miss a beat and very personable as well. I enjoyed conversing with my server.

The French dip arrived just as I ordered it, complete with a large plate of those wonderful waffle fries. I typically prefer a bottle or two of ketchup with my waffle fries, but I was also given a sour cream dipping sauce to try out in addition to the usual ketchup. I thoroughly enjoyed this French dip sandwich, the grilled French loaf was actually not overwhelming, it also allowed the roast beef to protrude out of the sides, it was an excellent serving size. The garlic aioli, included on the French dip, was a great compliment to the overall flavor of the meal.

Overall I was very happy with my lunch at this establishment.
