I'm torn. On one hand the arepa and empanada were delicious. But I don't think any arepa should be $12, or any empanada should be $5. Definitely more upscale than the traditional Venezuelan street food that I was expecting. It also seems a bit odd that the menu reads "empanadas" when it is one empanada. I would love to see a little less plastic packaging / waste; there are some good alternatives out there. The plastic containers had melted and warped by the time we got home, which isn't the most appetizing.
Friendly people and great venezuelan/Latin American food! Try the sweet bites and golfeados if you like sweet and salty flavors
The food at this restaurant is the real flavor like the one I used to have in my native country of Venezuela. Portions are great and prices are very affordable. No other place to eat Venezuelan food I will recommend and I have try several in the cities but this one takes the top honor. Also you can buy Venezuelan Cheeses and beverages like Malta or try their Papelón Con Limón. A+
Wow. A wonderful find in Minneapolis. My husband is Venezuelan and I've grown to love the cuisine. The only restaurant in the metro area with authentic ingredients. I highly recommend a visit.
DO IT! GO TRY IT! GREAT FLAVOR, GREAT SAUCE and GREAT PRICE. Arepa Bar really brings the true Venezuelan flavor to the table. the empanadas are incredible, the portions are very generous for the price and the staff is very friendly and professional. it’s a great experience overall, 100% recommended.
