Burrito Loco

Folks, B Loco is the best bar in Dinkytown. That’s not saying much since there are only like 3 left, but I digress. Their daily food specials will keep you wanting to come back and try out the full scope of their offerings. The bartenders are friendly and sometimes quite generous. The atmosphere is very much a college town bar, but with none of the pretentiousness. Come for the wings and beer, stay for the beer pong and touchtunes.

Once upon a time this was my favorite place to eat. But something has happened...maybe new management, maybe I just came on an off day. I had a bowl, but it wasn’t very tasty and was strangely very watery.

Best part was the queso, that is still salty and cheesy and delicious with the crunchy fluffy tortilla chips.

Staff was nice but didn’t seem too excited, didn’t feel like it was one of those places I’d go back because the staff was fantastic. You know the place. But again, maybe an off day?

I’ll have to return next time I’m in the area and give it another shot. I used to go in college (15 years ago) often and loved it. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Every once in awhile I'm in the mood for this place and unfortunately always come away feeling the same: it's alright. I really like the amount of customization options, I like that I can get my nacho toppings in a separate container from my chips in a to go order so nothing's soggy but time and time again I'm never satisfied with ny Neal. The flavor just isn't there to me, but it's a decent spot if you live nearby.

The wings are always at least good, sometimes they are PERFECTION,
Perfection meaning buttery, crispy, decent sized wing, and great flavor, sometimes they only hit 2 of the 4, sometimes they knock it out of the park and you get all 4 thing! It is THE Only restaurant that I repeatedly visit. Fajitas Friday Nights are Bomb!!! Some of the staff is AWESOME!!! Burritos are always a good thing. This will be the only place I miss when I move from MN.
