This restaurant popped up on Door Dash so I thought I'd check the reviews to see if it was any good. Based on what I saw I decided to go for it and these ratings are legit! Every time I try a new Chinese/Asian restaurant many of the ingredients are clearly frozen pre-packaged dishes. More recently I've literally thrown out leftovers because they were low quality chicken, mostly breading, or tasted like freezer burn. Cheng's Garden was a refreshing reminder of how good this type of food can be! Each piece of my sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken was ACTUAL FRESHLY COOKED CHICKEN, breaded and fried just right. No chewy fat or soggy fried breading pieces. It was amazing, will definitely order again!

I just found my new favorite place for General Tso's chicken. The chicken was lightly battered and the sauce was nice and thick. The pork fried rice and shrimp toast were equally as awesome. Having this place so close to me may or may not be a good thing, lol.

Best pepper steak and just everything else on their whole menu! I have been coming here since I was a child with my family now I go with my husband as a grown woman 👠 forever delicious 🤤

New York Style, family owned greasy spoon Chinese comfort food. This is not a complaint, just know what you are getting. Thick sauces, fried rice, fresh stir fried veggies and crispy fried to perfection wanton or eggrolls. There is nothing "high class" or pretentious about the food. We have been enjoying them from over 2 decades and they are still a favorite hole in the wall take out Chinese that we go out of our way to get even after we moved to suburbs.
