The Good:
Great location - walkable to many places
Cozy decor
Clean rooms
Students can study in the lobby
Nice gym

The Bad:
Woefully understaffed
Sometimes the front desk staff needs to be the valet too
Valet parking is your only option if you drive into town

The Ugly:
They publish a rate of $20/day for self park and $27/day for valet, but self park isn't an option. They just charge your account.
The morning of the MN vs WI game, they had only one person working the front desk AND the valet and it took 30 min for us to get our car. We even called down first. When we asked about the delay, Eric told my husband, "if you want to get into it, I'll get into it with you". Not exactly Minnesota Nice.

Room and hotel were clean, beds were comfortable and decor and hotel theme were fun and interesting. Self-parking is conveniently located across the street for $13 if you do not want to pay $25 for hotel valet parking. Any college students present in the lobby were quietly studying and were quite friendly. There was ample seating reserved for hotel guests. This hotel is in the middle of a college campus... the location was very convenient with many restaurant options. Great ambiance overall. I also appreciated the hotel attempting to cut down on single use plastics in various ways.

The rooms were very nice. Very convenient having a Starbucks downstairs. I also really enjoyed your complementary lemon and mint water. The orange and cucumber was also exuisite.

Rooms were so comfy. Beds were comfortable, room was very clean, even behind the nightstand. All the Staff members were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have an in-house restaurant.

The hotel itself was a very fun and interesting place with comfortable rooms. The customer service left a lot to be desired. Our family had reserved a block of rooms as we were there for an event and each of our names was to be put on one room. My room was not available for check in before the wedding so after leaving the wedding to check in, I went back to the event only to realize I had been given the same room as another family member and had to go back to the hotel again to get assigned a proper room. The following morning house keeping knocked on our door around 9am and proceeded to walk in before I was able to answer the door even though check out wasn't until 11am and we had not checked out yet. Our family had planned to brunch at the hotel restaurant in the morning as well but the restaurant was so understaffed they weren't able to serve our group of 12.
