Himalayan Restaurant

This place is my favorite spot in the city. I’ve been coming here since the Franklin Ave location, so nearly 6.5 years. Consistently amazing and the owner is incredibly kind. Himalayan Restaurant is a gem and should be treasured as so.

I have lived in the States for a while now and have eaten at so many Nepali restaurants but never came across to a restaurant that had an authentic taste of Nepali, Newari food. Unexpectedly, I found that taste that reminds me of Nepal and homemade food here at Himalayan restaurant. I genuinely loved the food, the people, the vibe of the place. The owner dai was so kind and friendly, got a good service and the variety of food were not too oily or creamy or tasteless. I could tell that the food was fresh and spices were mixed well.
I would 100% recommend this place. At least, try it once if you want to get a sense of what authentic Nepali food taste like. Hands down, the best Nepali food in the States. ????????

Best restaurant in South Minneapolis. My little warm heaven. Everything they make is delicious and the service is amazing and warm!

The food is amazing! They also offer a buffet every day which has a different menu daily. Everything I have tried is absolutely delicious. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is very friendly and attentive.

This is probably the best place in the twin cities if you are craving for Nepali cuisine or food which is similar to the Indian cuisine. The service is also really good. The owner literally treats you as if you’ve visited his home. Highly recommended.
