I don't really understand why this gas station has such bad reviews. Yes it's in a rougher part of town, but the store was recently remodeled and it looks great. The interior of the store is clean and well-stocked. I have clients in this area, so I often stop here to use the bathroom - it's really hard to find public bathrooms in this neighborhood, so I appreciate that they keep their bathrooms clean and well-stocked, and I don't need to ask for a key. The lock on one of the stalls in the women's room needs to be fixed, though. Also, note that this location closes at 10 pm.

I also frequently grab a quick lunch, snack, or drink here. They have a good selection, including plenty of both hot and cold sandwiches.

Of course it's a pain that their pumps are prepay only (or pay at the pump too I think) , but again, it's not in the greatest area, so that's to be expected. I generally don't gas up here, but I did the other day and didn't have any problems. There was a bit of a line at the register, but it moved quickly. Overall, this is a good convenience store considering where it is. Way better than some janky Speedway, for example - Speedway is the worst! I also appreciate that they maintained some of this store's funky retro architecture when they remodeled :)
