Great food. Great prices. Helpful to know a little bit about Ethiopian food before you go no pictures on menu.

Shared a platter for 2-3 with my friend of various dishes and it was delicious, filling and so reasonably priced. The place was well decorated, clean and comfortable. The parking is a bit precarious, as there are not a lot of spots, but it's worth the work of finding a spot and free.

The split peas were the best I've ever had. Got the chicken tibs and the chicken was so fresh. The owner came and introduced herself. Very nice woman. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

I LOVE MESOB!!! It’s super affordable and the food is incredibly good. We have always been very pleased with our food and love the restaurant itself. Staff is pleasant and the Ethiopian beer is a fun touch. SO thankful we are only two blocks away!!

Just got back from my first visit to Mesob. I had a beef dish for one, #9 on the menu. For my taste, it was perfectly spiced, with an intriguing balance of savory spices heat and a bit of sour tang. (I am of European descent.) I had it with (2) injera which came with the single serving. The presentation was very nice on a pretty oblong platter. The Ethiopian tea was a pleasant partner of flavors with the tea set on a tasteful platter.
The price was reasonable, especially considering I brought a goodly amount home for a second meal.
There is a bar and an area set aside for the burning of a pleasant, light, woodsy incense. The restaurant is small but very attractive.
The service was very good. I noticed a fair amount of take-out traffic, including a number of Somali customers. And of course plenty of Ethiopian customers.
It was easy to give it 5 stars!
