I was nearby for work and this place smelled so amazing we had to give it a try. I love brisket but good brisket is hard to find. With that being said their brisket sandwich was outstanding and one of the best sandwiches I have had in a while.
Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.
I wish I could rate 4.75 because the ONLY knock on this place is the prices. With that said the meats are phenomenal and food tastes great! I just wish for $10-13 you'd get a sandwich and a side, but it's all separate so you pay anywhere from $15-$20 for lunch menu.
Take the money out though, GREAT food. Worth a try for sure!
Great experience. Could have parked at the street but choose the church lot instead. Ordered the brisket sandwich and split the loaded tots. Both were amazing, but the first bite of brisket told me I would be coming back.
The guys were very friendly, we talked about the establishment for a little bit. I was able to look inside the large smoker which was massive and amazing then I had a brisket sandwich and a cream soda. Everything was fantastic but to be honest I don't care for the pickles.???? there's a bar and bar stools to sit inside for half a dozen people and two picnic tables outside for seasonal seating. Definitely a carry-out joint.
I want to give this 4 1/2 stars. I like the style of BBQ they are serving and ate their brisket and ribs, along with a few sides. The sides were very good, as were the ribs. The brisket was certainly some of the best I've had in MN but still didn't seem like the fat had rendered properly and could have either used a bit more time to cook, or perhaps there is too much direct heat cooking the brisket. Either way, these guys are doing well and I will be back!
