Great food, wonderful atmosphere, prompt, respectful service. I appreciate the 20% service fee because I want to know people are being paid well and aren’t relying on the generosity of tips. Overall highly recommend.
All the food we had was excellent. The sauce on lamb meatballs is great. The broccolini is charred and smokey in the best way. The cheeseburger is the best smash burger I’ve ever had. And the cheesecake is worth the trip on its own.
Incredible, delightful experience. Solid chef, solid restaurant, everything above par. If you’re in the area, or just a local looking for a night out, this is your spot. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Perhaps it was an off night? Despite raves from friends I found it deafeningly loud, overpriced and overrated. Very uneven with the cauliflower excellent and the beets almost inedible. Steak was tiny (served with an absurdly huge pepper garnish) and totally flavorless, though the sauce was great. Stuffed peppers were very basic and ridiculously overpriced. Cheeseburger was solidly delicious. Seasoning was all over the place. Cheesecake was incredibly bland, like eating plain cream cheese, yet the beets were doused in cumin. Service was very speedy and polite. Atmosphere was very very dark, but otherwise pleasant.
Absolutely next level cuisine.
I wish I had more words for the level of flavor my partner and I experienced at Petite Leon. Earthy, deep, and intensely rich flavors are what make this experience so exquisite.
Expect spice. Expect depth. Expect intensity.
I will be back.
