Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, the Depot

The property is well kept and clean. The staff is very professional and supportive! Very well thought out design and plenty of art to admire. The restaurant food is top notch!

So it's been 3 years since we stayed there, so I don't remember a lot, but all I know is that I really enjoyed staying there. It has a really professional feel to it, kind of fancy actually, but we still stayed with lots of kids there. I think it was in a really good location too. It was good walking distance to services. I would recommend staying here.

Nice location in the center of everything. Lobby and bar area are very well kept, free alcoholic punch during the week. Rooms themselves are sort of small with a normal appearing bathtub/shower that is clearly an old refurbished bathroom, nothing to call home about. Staff are very friendly. Parking available but over $25 a day.

Very nice hotel, with a wonderful staff. The front desk was especially helpful. The only thing keeping this review from being 5 stars is the elevators. This hotel does not have enough elevators, and I found myself constantly waiting too long for an elevator. They even stopped working for a bit, forcing a lot of people to try to find the stairs. Otherwise, the bar was great, the rooms were nice and the hotel staff took great care of us.

The Depot and Renaissance were the location for a family wedding. It was a perfect venue for a classy and elegant affair. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our event was successful. Nancy did an amazing job, was very organized and paid close attention to detail and had staff pressing the table linens at our request. Mario and Maria were extremely helpful and attentive with set up and dinner service. Randi was exceptional and the food was fabulous. Highly recommend this venue.
