First time at Sally's. Met friends before a Gophers BB game. Great vibe! It was packed, 50 min wait for a table. Great $3 burger specials, and Happy Hour. Love the huge high tables. Would be awesome in the summer with the garage doors open to the street. Highly reccomend.
I come here often, but always do my best to dodge the student atmosphere. I don’t know how the bartenders do it honestly. Dealing with such a wild and rambunctious crowd constantly, while keeping a good attitude. I appreciate the service I get here every time. The bartenders are awesome. I think Mr. Dave is the manager, not entirely sure, but he went out of his way to feed me one night after I got off work LATE, and he literally touched my soul. I was having an AWFUL night and he literally flipped my attitude. The rowdy crowd may not be so enticing, the employees always make my experience a pleasant one.
What can I say about Sally’s? I wish I were in college again. The staff work their butts off to cater to you wild students. Please show them some respect by not vandalizing the place. Whomever that manager guy is, he’s hot. Bacardi loves Sally’s
Sally's Saloon is more than a great Saloon; they have great food, friendly service, good to views, and a lot of TVs playing sports. I ate the Black Bean Veggie Burger and it made it to my Top 3 list of best veggie burgers. Check it out and bring the family.
I definitely recommend to go to Sally's during their happy hour (3pm - 6pm). Half off price on certain appetizers, flat bread pizzas, and $2 draft or bottle beers. The location is a great spot on the U of M campus and is popular. The flat bread pizzas was good just like any flat bread pizza I had. The service was quick and our server was courtesy. No complaints I have for Sally's.
