Another Ann Kim’s master restaurant. Love the ambience, open kitchen view, friendly staff, vegetarian (may be vegan) friendly. The three course meals have really good options for different dietary restrictions. Would not say it’s the best food I had but it was definitely a good experience. Please make reservations WAY ahead (weeks/month) of time since it’s a hot place in twin cities. I was very excited for the one of the only two desserts on the menu (they do have desserts drinks) but they were out of Satsuma cream puff so I ended up having the Korean sweet potato mochi donuts and they were delicious.
Perfect for a date night or if you’re looking for a different experience.

My friends and I dined there last night and it was a great experience. The service and ambience were our favorite parts - the cuisine from a technical standpoint was perfect and beautifully put together, we didn’t care for the taste of our dishes that much, though. However, I can see why people rave about the restaurant!

Food was amazing! There are three courses to the meal with an option to add a sharing plate. There were four of us- two guys and two girls- we all left stuffed! We did end up splitting a plate to share and a dessert. We could not finish all the food. Each course was incredibly tasty. We split many of the courses. My favorite starter was the cow tongue. I actually loved the grits for the second course. And the mushroom is by far the best third course. Only thing that would make this place better would be some ice cream for dessert!

Excellent, inventive, unique food that's a sharp turn from almost anything else being done in the Twin Cities. Absolutely loved it. Will say the food is a bit spicy to pair with the well selected wine list, so for perhaps the first time ever at a fine dining restaurant... I ordered a beer with dinner. Just a good to know, not a problem in the least.

Our night at Sooki and Mimi’s was wonderful! We also got drinks in the basement and the staff gave great personalized recommendations. For our meal, the food was absolutely fabulous, and we recommend doing the set menu. The pacing made the whole evening feel cozy and relaxed. Our waiter Nick was knowledgeable, kind, and entertaining and talked us through the thought and ingredients of each dish! Give him a massive raise!!! We loved talking to him and learning about the intentional way food is made. We will be back!
