Fast service, cozy seating, great food, and good vibes. I love seafood and had been looking for some as well as something new. This dish of marinated/seared salmon topped with steamed apples and a side of seasoned potatoes... scrumptious. Highly recommended for seafood lovers, group outings, or first dates.

Incredible. Tony was our server and he was, hands down, the best server I think I’ve ever had. Trying new food and dining out is one of our favorite things to do, we’ve been all over the Twin Cities and never ever have I experienced service like this. Flawless. Tony, the runner from the kitchen, and the gal emptying our shell buckets and filling our water - it was like we had a village working to make sure we didn’t even have to pour our own wine. Our dirty plates disappeared, waters and wine glasses always filled, I kept leaving my fork on my dirty plates without realizing it and a new one always appeared on the next plate when I didn’t even realize it was missing. What a well-oiled machine. Now the FOOD. Good lord. I can’t believe we’ve never been here before or that it wasn’t higher on our list of places to visit in uptown. The lobster bisque was honestly my favorite part of the entire meal because it’s the best lobster bisque Ive ever had, but everything was amazing. Hats off, this place is one of our favorites and we will be back. Thank you to Tony for making my husbands birthday dinner so enjoyable.

My brother and I decided to host a surprise anniversary party for our parents here. I met with Nicole to view the different spaces Stella's had available, and she arranged a menu tasting, adding to my requests with some of their popular items. We ended up using the Mezzanine Lounge which was perfect for the fifty guests in a cocktail setting and a slideshow that played in the background. As it was a surprise, a "reservation" was created in the system to alert the hostess, and when guiding our parents into the elevator, she hid which floor had been pressed.

The entire experience was incredible - the food and staff were excellent! We received many compliments, and our parents still light up every time the party is brought up. Thank you, Nicole and Stella's!

I really like the happy hour here. I would recommend the blackened beef bites or the champagne mussels. Off the main menu the jambalaya is great. During happy hour drinks are basically two for one. My only criticism is that their beer rotation is nonexistent. They have ten or so basic beers and they always have those same beers. If you go there a lot you notice. I do and I have....

I've been coming to this restaurant for over a decade now, I think. I absolutely love this place. The food is great, the drinks are awesome. The menu allows for a person to eat on a budget or fully indulge. They have baskets for lower prices, but if you go to Stella's treat yourself to one of the daily specials or fresh catches of the day. The lobster and crab legs are also excellent. The drinks are always mixed nicely, and the rotating drink menus are well thought out, too. I love their summer Mojitos!

The best part of Stella's is the rooftop patio. Unfortunately, it is so popular that there is always a wait to be seated. It is worth it though. More unfortunate is the fact that high rise lofts and condos have sprung up literally surrounding the building that obscure the once amazing views from up there. Before you could see from Midtown to Downtown to Calhoun, now you can see just a fraction of that and well... into some people's windows, I guess, if you're into that kind of thing :P

Still love the patio, but it's hard to get a spot with a nice view these days. This will always be my favorite restaurant in Uptown.
