It's one of 3 places I've been that I've ended a meal and thought, they under charge.

We got 2 pizzas, 2 drinks, and a dessert. The flavor alone would carry a higher price, AND they give your a reasonable amount of food.

Old Fashion and the Paloma were literally perfect. No overly bsugary mixers and good alcohol.

The Tavern Pie and The Basque were both pretty. Crust had the nice gluten chew. Wood fire oven taste, and the Tavern pie has absolutely perfect topping distribution. The Basque had larger toppings less evenly distributed, but a quick fold solved that. Couldn't have been happier with the flavor profiles it the mouth feel if the pizzas.

The Church Basement Cookie and Bar Plate was so surprising, I don't know what I liked more, the drinks or the desserts. Cookies = Perfect. Crispy outside, soft inside, warm. Carrot cake and special k bars. Mom, Grandma, go take notes.

Overall, this and Peninsula are now my first recommendations to anyone adding where to eat in the city.

Beautiful space. Food was good. It’s essentially high quality pizza with strong quality control (there was a dude double checking every pizza).

For vegetarians, table loved the potato pizza! I liked the broccoli one as well. Also the sweet potato app was amazing

Arguably top 3 restaurants in Minneapolis. You can't go wrong with any of the options. if you want to do one appetizer and entree go for cauliflower and Korean beef pizza. The speak easy bar next door is great for wait if you haven't made reservations.. although that is hands down the best thing to do before some of the best food you'll eat!

I celebrated my birthday last night in this great restaurant. happy to tell that we had a pleasant evening and the restaurant was clearly the reason for this happy gathering. The stuff contributed in a gorgeous style, the cooking was very good and my guests were extremely glad. We shall surely come back again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

Stopped in for lunch and instantly got a seat up at the bar. Which was actually really good seats, we got front row to watch them cooking the pizzas in the wood fire oven.
Had excellent service from our server. The pizza was AMAZING! We had the old reliable (add mushrooms and pepperoni). It was excellent quality, great sauce, toppings and good crust and prepared perfectly. We loved it and were happy. Stayed and tried the dessert as well, the seasonal (peaches and Blueberry) crisp was delicious. We combined it with a twist of their soft serve ice cream (seasonal strawberry mixed with the vanilla). The hostess even bought the ice cream for us, which I thought was so nice. I can't remember anytime of going out and having a server do that just because. The restaurant was also very interesting, lots of plants and interesting set up. Highly recommend stopping in here.
