The atmosphere is mellow and it makes you feel like you are home and don't want to leave. The people the workers it's a chill place to be without all the riffraff.

Stopped in for a quick drink and ordered gizzards and had coleslaw. They were great. (Coming from someone who don't like gizzards).the chef even came out and asked how we liked them. Our server Kia. Fantastic. Super friendly. Taught me a new way to make a "screw up".

I'm not sure if y'all heard about this place yet but, don't walk to Johnnie Mae's, RUN! From the moment I walked into this amazing atmosphere I was greeted with Love. All the staff is amazing from behind the bar to the kitchen staff. Speaking of kitchen, a special kiss to the chef and staff back there for making the food astonishing! This chef alone brought me back to my childhood with the food. I will definitely be back with more hungry people that's ready to have a time!

This food went above and beyond what I expected. The catfish nuggets, collard greens, chicken wings, sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese were all home runs. Food was flawless and I'll be frequenting this establishment on the regular for certain. Thank you all for coming to the area!

Johnnie Mae's is a fantastic new restaurant in Robbinsdale! The food is amazing- best catfish and greens that I've ever had. They have a fun, lively vibe, and everyone that works there is so nice! Special shout out to Miss Cheryl at the bar - she is a gem!
