Tried this place to celebrate a family birthday. Food was fresh, delicious, and unique. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place, as I'm picky about that sort of thing. Yes, it cost a bit more than we normally spend, but the food was very good. The 21% gratuity included hurt, not so much the principle but the fact that the service was not good. Plus, it's a loud atmosphere which made it difficult to communicate to our server when we had her attention. We'll probably go back, but maybe to take out. The pig nuggs were crazy delicious!

The pizza was very good, but a bit pricey. The atmosphere was excellent. The service was good, but not great. The service fee at the end was a surprise even though I understand it is mentioned somewhere on the menu. TIPS stands for 'To insure prompt service'. When they charge this fee automatically, it takes my discretion away and one has no way to influence the service of the wait staff. How can prompt service be insured if you pay for whatever service you end up getting? How can I someday get great service instead of good if my 'tips' are always included and perhaps taken for granted? Change this and I will go back.

Dont let the prices discourage you from dining here the food, beer, and service are great. Everything about this visit was great. Our server was very good wish I remembered his name. They brew their own beer. Their hazy IPA was very good and so was their sour ale. They have quite a diverse pizza menu and thankfully we had a large group so I got to try many of their offerings. The flavors of these pizzas are wonderful. I really enjoyed it and will come back.

Easily one of my favorite pizza places! I loved the unique homemade pizza. The staff was amazing! One of the guys bottled up some homebrew he let us sample for free. And the atmosphere was fantastic. I've only been here once and I think it'd be impossible to come here and have anything less than a fantastic experience... No joke, this place is legendary.

Overall the experience was good. Bar staff had excellent customer service, no drink was ever close to empty. Food was good but $2-$3 more than what it is worth. On top of costly food, customers are subjected to a "Fair Wage" fee, which is disclaimed on the website and menu (this fee should not be taxed, but it is), though I was unaware how much until the cheque was given; I was going to provide a generous tip until seeing the significant fee, thus resulting in no tip (fee was upwards of 20%). It may consequently have a negative effect on business and will be the main reason I do not return. However, because of food quality and wait staff, I will recommend others to try Pig Ate My Pizza.
