Luigi's Best: Pizza & Calzones

Wow - this pizza is absolutely delicious! As an East Coast guy I've been in a 20-year depression lamenting the absence of decent pizza here in Minnesota. But finally, FINALLY, I've found a spot that has not just passable but legitimately great pizza! Sauce is fantastic, and unlike so many MN pizza places, they know not to undercook the thing. Thank you Lou!!!

I work next door and appreciate a place close by for sure, especially a great one like this. Luigi's Best has a fresh and imported take on pizza which I find unique and tasty. My lady really enjoys it too. Five stars all the way!

Excellent pizza. I didn’t even have time to take a photo since I ate it so fast! The sausage pizza was excellent. Great sauce and cheese too, and the dough is soft and good. Very good experience overall, and a good location too.

Made with super fresh and high-quality ingredients, Luigi's Best pizza is delicious. We ordered up the Prosciutto & Arugula and a Better-Than-Pepperoni Salami pizzas. Both were awesome. Crispy crust, fresh tomato sauce, creamy cheese, and delicious meats. Even the red pepper flakes are high-quality imported spice.

We'll certainly be back again soon for more pizza perfection from Luigi's Best.

Food:
Wonderful, authentic, Italian Pizza. If you are familiar with Punch pizza, and enjoy that style, Luigi's Best will not disappoint. The crust and sauce are particularly noteworthy, and in my opinion, superior. Truly the best margherita style Pizza I've had in this price range. Unfortunately, no fountain beverages are available at this time, but they have a nice selection of bottled premium sodas with no refills.

Atmosphere:
It's a small shop, ideal for carry out orders. There is a small dining space, with little seating. This restaurant opened recently so the quality of the storefront is still evolving, but it's clean and functional and there's an opportunity for it to be quite cozy. From what I've seen, the employees are kind and professional. I was even served by the owner, which gave my experience a much appreciated personal touch.

Despite being very new, Luigi's is already a favorite of mine and I intend to return many times.
