I have eaten several items of the menu over the years, but 9 times out of ten I order the Tandoori Chicken, I just love the stuff! It's priced at $12.95. Which I think is quite far for a restaurant that has white linen on the table.
They also have a fair priced lunch buffet and the chicken is always offered. Some of the buffet items are put on rotation so you get a little variety during the week. When you order the chicken for dinner it is served on a sizzling hot platter, during lunch it's in bulk with the other items in a tray on a steam table. During dinner you can order it at the spice level you like, during lunch it's at it's mildest ( we have a lot of Lutherans in Minnesota that need to be catered to, heck pepper scares them).
Don't let the old strip mall location fool you, the service and the food is great!
Food was very good and the service was very friendly. The only drawback was it's kind of dated decor but I was there for the food. Feed me something delicious and treat me well and I will happily come back. I will be back.
Tasty food. The only Indian buffet in the western suburbs where I find fish pakoras and Punjabi samosas, both of which I like. The decor is a bit dated but it's a good place for a nice conversation. The service is timely.
BEST Indian lunch buffet in Twin Cities. Best $11 you can spend . Instead of getting a junk food meal, for the same price, stop by and get a to go box full of delicious items. I now got addicted to Indian food, which I never ate before.
Nice place and has a great ambience. The food was extremely good and the choices were also plenty. Service was a bit slow and that was a little surprising given that the place was really not that crowded.
It took about 5-7 minutes for some one to even notice we were waiting to be seated, then another 5-7 minutes for someone to come take our order.
The only weird thing was that they now levy a 3.99% service charge for payments with a credit card. I have not seen that.
Overall, still a pretty good experience.
