Iron Horse Bar & Grill

The food is always fantastic and fairly priced. The serving staff is always very helpful and extremely friendly. Definitely a great restaurant to try if you are in the Nevis Minnesota area.

They have good food but it's never consistent. 90% of the time I've ordered take out they left out parts of the meal or forgot something. Never know what you're going to get. I go back because it close and I try to order and remind them how we've had messed up orders or stuff left out... even then they still screw it up.

Good food. Try the cheese curds. Very limited beer selection. Only busch light on tap.

Update they have added additional tap lines and have a nice selection. Maybe 12 total taps now.

Ok, first let me apologize for the "half - eaten" photo of our food, but, I was so hungry and the food smelled so good I couldn't wait to try a bite. It was wonderful! Excellent smoked ribs with a highly complimentary sauce, fall off the bone tender - yum. The Roadhouse Mac n Cheese was a perfect match with a mixture of brisket, peppers, onions and two tasty cheeses. OMG, heavenly! Of course the service was superb - Lindsey was an expert in local area news and at taping a delicious Bemidji Brewing IPA for us while we reveled the food and spacious seating on the deck. Nevis is an enjoyable resting place that has quaint shops and parks. Check out Wolffworks gallery also. Marcia and Gary are incredibly talented and over the top Minnesota nice. Thanks Iron Horse and Lindsey for a memorable afternoon. We will visit again!

I've eaten here 3 different times while visiting the Nevis area. BEST food hands-down!! The amount of food you get for the price is great and the service was fantastic every time. Every time we go up north we will be stopping here at least once per stay!
