Comfortable delicious different - I like coming here because the chef knows how to pair the right combinations of foods together to create a satisfying meal. Oh and the coffee is amazing. Attention to details matters. They don't miss a one. Yes it costs more than Applebee's. But why settle for just food when for a few more dollars you can have an adventure. Live life well, enjoy really good food.
I went to to Willards with a couple friends for lunch. I've never been there before. I am vegan and I didn't see anything on the menu that was a vegan option. I asked the waitress if anything could be made vegan. She asked the chef (chef Harcey) if there was anything that can be made vegan on the menu and he offered to make something special. It was phenomenal! It had mushrooms, wild rice, spinach, almonds, spiced pears and garlic. I ate the entire thing! I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to have a special meal from the chef and that he was able to accommodate my dietary needs. What a special talent. It did not go unnoticed!!!
Stopped in here for breakfast with my husband on our way up north. WOW... I wish this place was in the twin cities! We ordered the Ruben Benedict and the Biscuits and Gravy with a side of custard French toast. Everything was excellent. We couldn't decide which entree was best. If portion is important though, I would recommend the Ruben Benedict. The Biscuits and Gravy portion was a bit small.
The restaurant has the perfect ambiance for the food on the menu, very clean, and very tasteful . The food is amazing. Trout dip and cream corn was to die for. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. Drinks were well prepared. Price is a little high for the quality but worth it. This area needed a place like this desperately
