Adelita's Taqueria

This place is surprisingly nestled in a small town outside of the cities and BOY OH BOY THEIR FOOD IS AUTHENTICALLY AMAZING!!! Don't listen to the bad reviews from the locals who don't like "different" things and people!!! (They probably thought they were at the old Taco John's!!) Those are the locals in this basic small town who only likes Kraft mac & cheese and Totino's pizza 🤣😂🤣 (Nothing wrong with that, they just don't have any business doing food reviews!!). Their Birria was JUICY, buttery tender and freshly slow cooked to perfection (and they give you A LOT) and smothered in oooey gooey Oaxacan cheese!! Even the consome was so rich, silky and flavorful (coated the spoon). This place is as authentic as you can get (they even have a serve your own salsa, which were all home made by the way!!). My hubby and I have had birria in Mexico, LA, Vegas and the best spots all around for Birria and this place seriously deserves a chef's kiss! We still can't believe a restaurant with authentic cuisine like this is in little ole Princeton Minnesota!!

The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and very prompt. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Definitely will be back!

Highly recommend the Carne asada (steak) tacos and the Birria tacos

Grabbed a variety of street tacos, and they did not disappoint. The salsas were flavorful and had some heat. Great music and helpful staff. Will be back for the corn on the cob.

First day open and it is packed! Got 2 tortas (chorizo and carne asada) with fries, tres leches cake, Diet Coke and Horchata. Food is very good and only complaint is the refried beans on the sandwiches are not fully mashed but I think it’s because they ran out of rice and beans so early today and had to make more due to the amount of people that showed up! Cake and horchata were delicious 😋
