Lone Star BBQ & Grill

We stopped here on a drive through town and I'm glad we did. The meatloaf has a rich, smokey flavor and the ribs were flavorful, even without the BBQ sauce. The service was quick and personable. We had our three young children with us and they were kept busy with coloring sheets. If we are in town again, we will definitely return. I am always happy to support a non-chain, family owned restaurant.

Had great service and very good dinner. We ordered the special (1/4 chicken & 1/2lb rib tips for $13.95) which included corn bread, mashed potatoes, gravy, and coleslaw. The corn bread is some of the best I have ever tasted. The rib tips were excellent! The only disappointment was the coleslaw. It was lacking in taste. It did not matter as there was so much food I did not have room for the coleslaw anyway. I recommend this place for value and ambiance.

Not sure what the others that left a review looked at but the service was awesome. The ribs where not covered in sauce to hide the smoked flavor. My wife had the pastrami sandwich and ut was incredible. The Cowboy balls where different but delicious.
