Nice Americana food. The blue cheese fritters were a nice combination. The steaks were prepared nicely. Good choices in beverage options. Dessert was only OK. But they had great presentation.
The cabbage chorizo rolls had some nice zing to them with the sauce, although the were more like Mexican egg rolls. The salmon with apple glaze was delicious, with just the right portion size. My friend got the swordfish and really enjoyed it. The wait staff was courteous and accommodating
Expensive but wonderful atmosphere and food. This was my most expensive meal in quite some time, but the food was delicious. The cabbage chorizo rolls had some nice zing to them with the sauce, although the were more like Mexican egg rolls. The salmon with apple glaze was delicious, with just the right portion size. My friend got the swordfish and really enjoyed it.
300 First is always great. I just wish they still have the brick chicken. They don't have a chicken that savory without cheese, just plain chicken.
We dined here while visiting Rochester for medical care. From the outside, you wouldn't know it's a renovated warehouse-type building. The atmosphere was quiet and conducive to conversation. The service was excellent on the evening we were there. The restaurant was not busy. My dining companions had the salmon, cordon bleu Wellington and the kabobs. They all said their dinners were good. My butternut squash ravioli was delicious. We also had appetizer onion rings, and I had a house salad which was very good. The ambiance would be reason to visit 300 First. The food and service were bonuses.
