Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii

I've had all the coffees in town. This was a great cup. Much better quality than most. Ihad a mocha, and it still had a rich coffee flavor, not just the usual near hot chocolate stuff at other places.

We really enjoyed this coffee shop and their sustainable mindset. The coffee was delicious and we only had a large basic Blended drink that did NOT taste like dessert in a cup but actual coffee. They gave us a hearty sample before we made an informed decision to order.

Fantastic coffee and great people. Love that their iced coffees use frozen coffee cubes instead of regular ice so your drink doesn't get watered down. Tons of cute merchandise as well as a good rewards program! A bit spendy but prices are in line with other major coffee houses.

I was excited to try this new coffee, as a couple friends had positive thoughts on it.

I ordered a medium roast and a dark roast. The weren’t serving the dark roast today, so they told me they would have to make it special but were happy to do it.

The Dark roast coffee was like water- they called it Lava something. I’m not sure what I was given or if their beans are mislabeled but it was absolutely flavorless. Coming from a person who craves a dark roast - mind you.

I decided to try the medium roast- it was pretty good. Exactly like you would expect from a medium coffee. I poured the two in cups once home. My so called dark roast was much lighter than the dark roast I ordered. A wasted cup of coffee.

I’m let down, I really wanted to love the coffee. Perhaps if you can actually get the dark roast- it would be bad a$$. My review is 3 stars for this reason. The staff was friendly, helpful. There are no envelopes or sleeves for gift cards. I was disappointed in this too. But it’s a new place, maybe it will work out the bugs.

What a great new coffee shop! People keep saying how there are a lot of coffee shops in town but this one brings a whole new take on coffee. Their Hawaiian coffee is delicious and their atmosphere is peaceful and happy :) loved sipping on my almond mocha while reading my book!
