One of the best restaurants in Rochester. They have a some outdoor seating (inside the mall still), a bar area and the restaurant itself. Their salads are quieter good and the lobster mac and cheese never disappoints. Friendly staff that is accommodating to food allergies, great spot!

Healthy bowls can easily be made vegan! Awesome spot walking distance from both the Mayo Clinic and from the downtown Hilton’s (Garden Inn or standard). The ambience is intimate and upscale and the food and drink menu are both top notch. The “healthy bowl” options were delicious and a great mix of fresh greens and grains. There is patio seating out front which faces a super cute hidden garden -esque alley’s end courtyard. An easy recommendation for anyone visiting the clinic!

Good warm hearty food at a convenient location. A walk away from the clinic, many patients visit this restaurant as a distraction from their day to day appointments. A combination of college students , Mayo staff and patients . Outdoor seating faces the fountain during summer days. They are mostly known for their chicken , but I prefer their burgers. Pictured is a quinoa healthy bowl with salmon and the soup of the day which was kindly blended for use since I was in a liquid diet at that time

Most of the time I review restaurants so you can think about the food. This time my review is mostly about Ashley C. The food was great. In fact, it's hard to tell from the photo that that steak is 1.5 in thick but it is. Ashley C. recommended the walleye for my wife. She never tried this fish before and took on a leap of faith.

Mine was the prime rib and I got a 16 oz. I only got that large because I want to share with my wife. Now that doesn't mean she shares with me but she should.

We're in Rochester Minnesota because I'm visiting the Mayo Clinic. This is a short walk. Be careful of all the wheelchairs and gray hairs. It's okay my hair is a little gray and if everything works out I'll escape the wheelchair for now.

Anyways I ordered everything Ashley C. recommended and it was great. You should listen to her even though you might have to challenge some of your preconceived notions about food.

Did you can request to be seated in Ashley C's section and then you can get the same service as me? It's true, you can!

The atmosphere is great! You can probably find better food for a lower price though. :/ The atmosphere definitely makes up for the price at least!

Update: after trying a few other places in town, I'm seeing why people like Chester's. Their food isn't so bad after-all. I still love the atmosphere that it has, too.
