Grandma's Kitchen

Every summer we come to Rochester for our convention. We were tired of all our regular places to eat so decided to see what we could find on Google maps. When we walked in I felt right at home. While waiting for our order, my 11year old son said he liked the place, it felt old fashioned. Everything was great! I love that our server knew the older gentleman at the booth next to us and what his "usual" was. Small town feel in a city! Love the penny countertop. We will definitely be back next year.

Good food. Friendly service. One page breakfast menu filled with classics. Decor pays respect to veterans, especially Korean War Vets.

This place is amazing! I cant say enough good things about Grandma's kitchen the food is terrific! The portions are awesome you can still get the tin mixing cup when you order a malt, this place is a small, quiet, sit-down or take out restaurant and if you like history this place will also appeal to you the walls are decorated with military photos and flags. I think Grandma's Kitchen is my absolute favorite place to eat!

Fantastic classic diner. Every table was full and the service was still superb. Coffee never ran dry and the food came out quick. Definitely a favorite.

Had the Daily Special: Chicken & Dumpling Vegetable Soup with Chicken Salad sandwich. Delicious and filling!
