From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with classic and cozy elegance. The atmosphere is top notch, and is equalled by the quality of the food. With a very frequently rotating menu, you are guaranteed to get only what is fresh and in season. Tonight we had the Irish Soda Bread, Gem Salad, Duck Fat Potatoes, Carrots and Bucatini all to share. Each dish was thoughtfully balanced and delectable. Daniel was our server, and could not have been more kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Even with only opening a few weeks ago, this is easily one of the best restaurants in Rochester!

Spectacular design and decor!

Posting this from the restaurant because I was that blown away. The best meal I’ve eaten in Minnesota.

Standouts of our order: steak tartare, carrots, roasted beets and the yogurt bundino. Dishes were inventive, flavorful, and extremely well balanced. So impressed with the menu, atmosphere and service. Looking forward to coming back again!

Kohlrabi tacos or bust!

We tried the bread and butter, kohlrabi tacos, marrow bones, duck fat potatoes, steak tartare, and beef cheeks.

All were excellent.
The menu is focused and precise.

I LOVE this restaurant. I was a regular at the pop up in the old Grand Rounds building so I was THRILLED when I found out they were opening their own spot. Everything was amazing. From the bone marrow, duck fat roasted potatoes, beef cheek, and bucatini pasta, to the cheesy biscuits and yogurt budino dessert. The staff was great and attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The drink menu is diverse. The natural lighting and exposed brick, combined with the modern decor really create an intimate yet open ambiance. We cannot wait to go back and see what other creative dishes they come up with. Great job Jeff and Sarah!
