Ootori Sushi

Good quality sushi. My chefs rolls were good. Lunch specials are decent. If you like things spicy this is the place, when they say hot, they mean hot. Fantastic staff as well.

Amazing! This is the best sushi restaurant in Rochester! Wide variety of rolls and sides. Unique combinations as well as very basic rolls for those that are less adventurous. Great atmosphere, unique decor. Waitress was helpful in suggestions based upon what we had already ordered. I love being able to come here for a long lunch to catch up with friends. This restaurant is quiet, yet welcoming and I never feel rushed to finish and leave the way I've felt pushed out the door at other restaurants.

For someone who only eats sushi a couple times a year, this was a treat. Although a humble store in a seemingly strip-mall style atmosphere, the interior was decorated much nicer and more comfortable. It had a clean and modern style - clean being the important factor. I had confidence the food would be properly prepared. Lunch time seating was expeditious. The menu was what I was looking for; nothing too outrageous, had the classics, and some new takes. The presentation was well executed. My Bento Box Sushi #1 looked the part - officially the first time I was impressed with sushi roll presentation. The taste was as expected, that is to say, fresh (as fresh as it can be in MN). It's not the best I've ever had, but it's tied with the best I've had in MN. Server was quick and ready as needed. Upon leaving, I noticed another diners plate - a sushimi rainbow of flavor! I will definitely try that the next time I'm here.

The most creative sushi in the area, always fresh, and a really relaxed atmosphere. We like to get out on the patio if the weather is right. The core group of servers are excellent and very friendly. The lunch bento is one of the most underrated lunches during the work week if you need a quick bite.

I have seen this place pacing by and finally decided to stop in and give it a try. It's a nice little place inside. It was a little busy even for being late afternoon. We were seated quickly and had menus and drinks in no time. The menu is pretty big so we had a hard time deciding. They have an extensive selection of sushi rolls and they are all fairly inexpensive. We chose 3 rolls and an appetizer and all came out very fast. It was all fresh and very good. Over all service was friendly and helpful. Total bill for drinks, 3 rolls and an appetizer for less than you would pay for a couple of large pizzas. I was impressed and will go back.
