The Workshop Food Hall & Bar

Our family is so happy to see the Workshop open in Rochester. It’s a great use of a really cool old building and the renovation is beautiful. Even the bathrooms are worth a visit! I had the Chicago Hot Dog this week and already want to go back for another. It has the perfect mix of sweet and savory, hot and cold, served on a basket of crunchy chips. What more could you want? Next time I want to bring our puppy and sit in the patio with a hot pizza and a cold Diet Coke.

This place reminds me of a high school cafeteria..if I went to an upscale artsy school you see on TV shows. I love the open seating concept with smaller tables and larger family style tables. The concept was easy, pick the restaurant you want to order from and sit down. They deliver the food to you. It's nice because sometimes he wants a burger and I want tacos..we don't have to compromise here. I also love the fact they are dog friendly on the patio and one resistant even makes a dog friendly burger for $4.
If I have to knit pick..which I do here. Little things like a light that hangs directly in front of one of the TV and a fan above the shuffle board table blowing off salt..but that's it.
For sure recommend.

Good drinks, but lines at each food vendor were too long so we did not eat. Foods are pretty basic like corn dogs, pizza, and fried foods. Atmosphere was very loud because it's a food hall. Lots of seating, booths are better than the center tables.

What a fun new concept to come to Rochester! I can’t wait to see the community that builds here with the family atmosphere. The intentionality of the owners in the building and the business is beyond most. The building is beautiful with a rich history you will have to read about yourself inside. The variety of food and drinks makes this place your one-stop-shop for your whole family where you can try something different every time you go!

I wish I had pictures to share of the inside. They also have a dog-friendly patio outside with a view of the corn cob tower. I have no doubts that this place will be a town favorite very soon. I hope your experience is as good as mine

Amazing place, people, service, food, and drinks. This place excels in every aspect of service. The food will have you coming back and the drinks will have you kicking it back! Beautiful atmosphere to meet new people and share a memory with an old friend. Family friendly with games and plenty of seating as well. Overall new favorite place to be any day of the week!
