This blows John Hardy’s and Famous Dave’s out of the water and is comparable to Kansas City BBQ in taste and price. I will be eating here a lot in the future and hope to see this restaurant grow to what it’s capable of! Bring a friend and try the sampler platter together. You won’t regret it!
I love ribs. This place has some of the best ones around. Family likes the brisket and mashed potatoes. We've always gotten good service.
Always exceptional service and some of the best BBQ. This isn't your typical boring food joint with typical fried food and lame sides. Everything is homemade and made with love and your taste buds will be blown away.
If your looking to eat on fancy china and use real silverware feel free to bring your own (food is served on a tray or in Styrofoam container which doesn't change the taste of the food).
You can expect generous portions while not breaking the bank for a meal. Whatever you choose you can't go wrong with so many great options.
I had the 2 meat platter. Both the pulled pork and the brisket were succulent and delicious. These meats have a wonderful flavor that literally stands on its own! No need to add any of the sauces for an amazing flavor. But play around with the sauces! A wide variety of great homemade sauces that range from sweet to fiery. The sides I chose were the potato salad, a very nice, gently seasoned salad. The Firehouse beans had a very good, flavorful, and not overly hot, spice to them. I’d highly recommend this restaurant.
