Squirrel Cage Bar Grill & Motel

We are at a local seasonal place nearby and have come here to eat now 4 times. Burgers are fantastic. Bone in wings are very good too. The wait staff are attentive without being overbearing. Keeping my drink full is a plus! Atmosphere could use some sprucing up but all in all a good place to come have a great burger and a cold drink (beer for me!)

My husband and I were visiting a local campground and stopped into eat. I order the patty melt and my husband had a burger. The patty melt was so good, I am so glad I took left overs home to savor the rest. My husband ate his whole burger. Food came quickly. The service was great! The restaurant seemed very clean, love the little squirrel knickknacks. I enjoyed a local beer from moose lake brewery. Definitely will stop again

It's a great place to eat! Huge dining area, families welcome, dance floor, pool table, sports to watch, attached off sale!
I met up with classmates that I hadn't seen for a long time! I live out of state. The bar persons were so kind and accommodating! It's obvious that folks come for food before the alcohol. Even single parties at the bar and eating!
It's a nice relaxing atmosphere! We were going to leave to visit another bar, but we wrapped up our memorable night at the Cage!
TIP BIG! They all deserve it! Cooks too!

We LOVE this place but the food is a bit pricey. The liquor selection in their off sale could be better but they work with what they've got. I always buy my liquor here (mostly cuz I live 2 minutes away)
The people are nice & friendly. The food is always good & the booze, though limited, is nicely priced.

Really good food. We got the Street Tacos for Taco Tuesday (pork with pico, cilantro, onion, avocado) with chips and queso. Also got the Squirrel Burger which is their bacon cheese burger. Really good! Service was friendly and quick. Recommend!
