Nice neighborhood restaurant. Good food and nice staff! Good breakfast!!
Very good homemade food. I visually get the cornbeef hash breakfast. But they have excellent burger also.
The meat is local & has the BEST burgers. They make good eggs too, my favorite is scrambled in the pan & they made it that way! They have been understanding when I forgot to order toppings on my burger & had it sent out right away. Although they do always give pickles on the side, even when I ask for none (for those who don't get it, pickle juice is potent & gets on what you're eating). I'm willing to overlook this & the 1 time I got a stale bun because otherwise their customer service is great, not very busy, get refills often & again the food is amazing (especially for the price). Their menu is a bit small notably only have 1 kind of soup a day & serving primarily breakfast food.
They have great Minnesotan decor & many old time regulars that can attest to this place. Highly recommend you see for yourself how much of a difference high quality meat can make!
I love this little diner! The regulars, the drop ins and the elderly couples and friends from church. Hearing the old men joke and reminiscing. The food is always amazing! I usually order the Eggs Benedict, everything is homemade fresh! You can tell by taste and sight! Wish I would have grabbed a photo!
Echoing what other people have said about this place, it has a small-town experience to it. Having worked construction in the area and needed a quick bite to eat we went here and they served us well. One time we even showed up 5 minutes before close and they let us order. I have had chicken fried steak and a BBQ bacon cheeseburger here and they were very tasty. Keep in mind this place tends to close early like 1pm on Sundays.
