Mac's Diner

Just went to Mac’s Diner for the first time. Excellent food! I had the Tennessee chicken sandwich with the sauces on the side. My husband had the meatloaf hash breakfast plate. My mother-in-law got the tomato basil soup and bacon-wrapped cheese curds. The chicken sandwich was juicy, with crispy breading. The fries were quality- almost as good at Five Guys. The bacon on the cheese curds was well done and crisp, which was perfect for being wrapped around cheese. My husband enjoyed the meatloaf hash with eggs. It had a chorizo flavor.

I recommend this place, and definitely plan to return. Kids eat free on Thursdays after 4 with purchase of adult entree. And the meals were reasonably priced.

Everything was excellent about our visit. I ordered the breakfast flatbread and it was out of this world amazing. Best breakfast I've ever had. It was so flavorful and light I wish I could eat it all. My husband had the poutine bowl and he was also very impressed. Service and atmosphere were very nice, especially when sitting outside (if you don't mind the occasional bee from the flowers). Definitely recommend this place and would return if I'm in the area again.

Last time we came the bacon wrapped cheese curds didn't have breading around the cheese at all, felt too heavy on its own. Roommate wasn't into the truffle fries.
Today, we tried some wings and onion rings and they were great. Bartender went out of thier way to get some bbq sauce and a moist towelette for me- the wings were just a little hot for a sensitive person, but great flavor.
Atmosphere is pretty good patio or bar. Mimosas were alright, but the Espresso Martini rocked my face off. Seats look comfy, and there is some presence of luck games ans pickle cards.

Great food and service! The Nashville chicken sandwich was amazing! The wings were fantastic. Bacon wrapped curds, incredible. Drinks were tasty and we definitely will be returning to try more of the menu!

A nice little spot downtown NSP. It has a modern bar and grill feel with patio seating.

We stopped in for dinner on a nice warm night and sat on the patio. The service was pretty slow, but we were not in a rush. The food was decent. I had the lemon chicken, which was pretty good. It only comes with one chicken breast, so keep that in mind. My wife had the beef stroganoff, which she thought was okay, but not great.

Worth stopping by and grabbing a drink and a bite to eat outside if you're in the area.
