Mole Mole Mole! Who knew that the best Mexican food in Minnesota would come from a cozy little restaurant located in a popular mall. The food is fresh and vibrant. The drink specials are not overly sweet or overly priced. Don't even get me started on how great the elote is! You will not be disappointed. The highlight of this place truly is the mole and the fact that you can have it slathered on just about anything (with in reason). I went there for lunch today and had a plate of rice, beans and chicken covered in that mole. I was in heaven. The depth of flavor will give any hungry patron the fortitude to brave the brutal Minnesota winters.

The pozole verde is also one of the other items on the menu that should have a few 5 stars behind it.

The serving sizes matches the price. You should have left overs just for the sake of eating them at home and experience of the dang mole again.

This location for Maya Cuisine is very nice inside. Our server was pleasant and efficient. I mistakenly ordered from the vegetarian meal with added chicken and it was surprisingly delicious and fresh tasting. The food needs a kick of flavour but will order with more detail next time. The salsa and chips need work. Chips were not crispy enough and the salsa tasted of tomato paste. Wish the salsa had fresh tomatoes, onions and cilantro . The refried beans did not have a homemade taste to them. The tables need hot sauce and better pepper grinders. Maya plate needs to be on the menu with chicken tamales wrapped in banana leaves. We went for the first time tonight ! It was an amazing experience ! Not only was it clean and super cute but the staff was amazing! They gave such great recommendations! The margaritas were DELICIOUS! Amazing queso and chips! Definitely will be bringing all our friends and family and recommending to everyone !
