Great downtown bar with a fun cast of characters running the place. They are always friendly and down to earth, this is a local fun party bar, very STP. I think the quiz nights are some of the most fun I have had with any sort of quiz night.

The booze selection is good, the prices are reasonable and the times are great! Would recommend!

If you are looking for a sports bar that serves food late, this is a great option. They validate parking for the ramp next door nights and weekends and have a shuttle to wild games for customers. They have several TVs, darts, pool tables, a partially covered back patio, and a couple other games. Great tap beer selection as well, with many of the options listed on their website.

Cool bar right in the middle of downtown St paul .
We stopped in for a couple drinks and some appetizers. The list of draft beer available is impressive. Probably 30 plus offerings and the majority are local craft beers .
They have some games and pool tables available in the back as well .
Would definitely go back here if in the area

Love Al's. Great drink prices and the kitchen they put in puts out good bar food. If your in to trivia they do a great beer special that they teamed up with Surly on. Fun spot

Never been to Alary's before. Evidently they have recently done some remodeling. Parking is easy with the ramp right next door, and they validate. Very casual place with a great beer selection and a decent, small menu. TV's all around. The food was good and the bartender/server was very nice. Decent prices too. Met some friends here before a concert at the Palace. I will certainly make it a stop of mine.
