Groundswell

One of my favorite coffee shops in the Twin Cities. Tucked away into a residential neighborhood but still near mass public transportation, Groundswell bring a relaxed and modern feel to a quiet Saint Paul neighborhood. Hosting a lovely weekend brunch as well as constant evening activities adds to the already wonderful standard menu and experience. Strongly reccomend.

The biscuits and gravy, each infused with rosemary, with egg over easy and crispy bacon were delicious. I found the coffee slightly fruity and a bit acidic. The peak Saturday crowd was around 0840. Some menu items, including this are available after 0900. The full menu isn't posted on the wall. Ask for one at the counter.

It's a very nice atmosphere, quiet on a Monday morning. They have just enough breakfast options to satisfy any palette, and the staff were warm and friendly. I was able to enjoy an omelette and escape into my thoughts during my time here.

Love this coffee shop! The food is unique, delicious and high quality! The drinks we're great. The space is much bigger than you would think. Yes, the prices are on the high side but, you're paying for the high quality food/drink and the ambiance. I would recommend you at least try it once!

I liked all the vegetarian and vegan options available. It's hard to find that around Saint Paul, especially for breakfast. I got the omelette and pumpkin pancakes, both were great. My friend got the breakfast sandwich, which he also enjoyed.
