Lao Thai Family Restaurant

The owner is working pretty much every time I come here, he's extremely hospitable, and strikes up a conversation with everyone in a "hawaiian bro" sort of demeanor that is fun and personal.

The food is delicious, and the prices are fair if not a bit cheaper than average. As a lover of Asian cuisine, and my wife being native to Asia, the flavors here are genuine. The Papaya Salad and Pad Thai are the closest you can get here in MN, and I personally love the Pineapple Fried Rice, even though I don't like Pineapples (That says a lot).

The place is a bit run down, and the interior isn't vibrant, but personality and food makes up for it.

Wow. The food here was absolutely amazing. The sticky rice was perfect. The wings were prepared well and tasty. The "beef jerky" was worthy of being a packaged product you sell in a store. I want to have it shipped to me in PA. I love hot oil. Usually it's not that hot. The hot oil here is the real deal and had me crying, in a good way.

Customers service is f@#ken amazing! And the food was very tasteful. I wasn't really in the mood to eat but my group was hungry and I'm glad I came to eat here.

My fave spot in off uni hands down. Every time I’m there the waiter always treat me like family. Affordable and makes feel like I’m home with the authentic food. Big portions that you can share with two. Well worth it.
