The atmosphere was small town, clean, and friendly. The fish was delicious, my wife and daughter enjoyed their food as well. They even gave my daughter a free push-up pop! We have passed this establishment often and they are usually packed on Friday night all-you-can-eat fish fry. Now we know why!
We sat at the bar. The Bartender was awesome. The food however was not. I haven't tried anything but the French Onion Soup, which is my favorite. It took over 30 min to get my soup and a basket of fries. I know it was busy, but it was still a little ridiculous. Also, the soup was not very good. The bread was still crunchy and so were the onions. The taste was also off, like they added broth or gravy to the soup to add flavor. Would not have the soup again. Would be willing to try something else based on the reviews.
You can go alone and not feel alone. Very friendly atmosphere. Food everywhere. Everyone was enjoying drink and dinner. We played some scratch off tickets always(its gambling and its optional if you want to partake). On Monday night there's a meat raffle drawing. I've had great luck with that. You have the option of eating inside or out.
Good except for a few minor details.
This was my first time here. First impressions were good. I liked the off street parking, and even on a busy Friday night there were spaces available. We were seated quickly, although there were not many booth spaces available, so we ended up in an open room with many other tables and guests. It was not as private as I would of liked. Our server was very friendly and attentive, drinks and food came promptly. The food was great! Although I would of liked to see tots added to the menu as an alternative to fries. The only other issue I was not impressed by was the fact that they had wonderful outdoor seating, but they were not serving there. We would of definitely chosen that on a really nice night. Otherwise....great place to go!
Sad to say I haven't stopped here in a long while.
Rest in heaven dear Rosie, bless her heart.
As always the food, service, the ambience is top notch. Hot beef sandwich with potatoes and loads of tasty gravy had me thinking grandma was in the kitchen!
Hostess Jean brings her charm and welcomes you with open arms and a warm smile.
The Bloody's are still the best on the east side of town!
