Pig Approved BBQ

Love the addition to the neighborhood. Smoked chicken has been my go-to, but the pulled pork and ribs have been really good too. Really like all the sauces too.

Pig Approved strays from the cookie-cutter barbecue that you might expect. The blend of spices used to season their meats and sauces provides an excitingly unique taste. The brisket is exactly what you want it to be: juicy and tender. The pulled pork and ribs could use more attention as mine were dry and firm but still enjoyable.
The sides were spot on. The coleslaw is not a lump of mayo and veggies but a light mix with a citrus dressing and cranberries for a little sweetness. The mac and cheese was not typically bland as I've come to expect but had the right amount of pepper to enhance the creamy dish.

Everything we ordered was exceptional. Seasonings were spot on. Someone really does care here and I appreciate that which is why I’m writing because I usually don’t. Service was very quick and no hang ups with online ordering. I look forward to trying more of the menu. Thank you.

We ordered chicken, but accidentally got ribs. Not only did they get us the correct order after we discovered the error, they let us keep the ribs and they were so good! I am not always a huge rib fan, but these were fall off the bone delicious! We will definitely be back, so happy to have them in the neighborhood.

I had the Nashville chicken sandwich, half-a-pound beef brisket, and one cup of the Mac and Cheese. Both were really good, I would say better than Famous Dave's but the brisket was cold, not like refrigerator cold but it's been out for a minute. Also the bun on the Nashville sandwich was room temp, not butter or toasted. The Mac and Cheese could've used more cheese and I felt like the portion was small for the price. Overall, good experience, I liked the food, and it is a little on the expensive side but I would go back again to try the other foods.
