PORTERHOUSE Steak & Seafood Restaurant

This spot provides wonderful service as well as yummy meals. The best place in the city. The food and drinks arrived fast and the rates are reasonable. Highly recommended.

Staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating. Food was good, but also was very rich. Prices are reasonable for a steakhouse, although wine prices are high. There is only bottle beer options. Parking lot does get overwhelmed during busy times. Easy access from 35E. Several patrons at the bar were obnoxious and perhaps should have been "cut off". Bartenders mix a stiff drink.

Judging from others' reviews, I'm wondering if our experience isn't typical. We dine out often and consider ourselves somewhat foodies and we weren't impressed at all with the food here. Steak would rate 2/5-- was ordered medium rare and came well done - had to send it back. The second one was cooked medium rare but not spiced well and still tough. For the price, I expected much better. The bacon scallop appetizer was 4/5 and good. Husband had the shrimp and said they were chewy and not what you'd expect for the price. Overall, wouldn't give it a second shot. The servers were very attentive and friendly.

The food was pretty good. But for the price, I'd hoped it'd be a lot better. The wine and cocktail prices are over the top and the atmosphere was lacking. We were seated next to the bar (on a Tuesday, mind you) and it got filled up really quickly. We constantly had people's butt's in our faces as we sat at our table. Also, the air conditioning was broken so we sat at our table sweating. We likely won't be going back

Absolutely hands down one of THE best Restaurants i have ever been to! From the moment you walk in the place is beautiful and staff are amazing and kind! Food was second to none! I had the porterhouse and was melt in your mouth delicious! I will definitely be coming back!!
